Why this guide

Whether to buy now or hold for a sale.

We track the Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max 512GB on Amazon UK, where it holds 4.6/5 from 214 ratings. Everything below comes from the listing, the spec sheet and buyer feedback.

Price and value in the UK

Amazon UK moves the price of the Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max 512GB regularly, so we link to the live listing instead of quoting a figure that goes stale. Judge value against what you'd pay for a comparable electronics product with the same rating volume — 214 ratings at 4.6/5 is a meaningful sample.

Should you upgrade?

If your current electronics kit still does the job, the honest answer is usually to wait for a price drop. Upgrade to the Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max 512GB when your existing one is failing, or when a feature here solves a problem you actually have — not just because it's newer.
