Tips from owners

Small things that make a difference with the Apple iPhone 17 Pro 512GB:

• •Give it a full first charge or setup cycle before judging performance.
• •Use the settings as intended rather than defaulting to maximum.
• •Keep the original packaging for the first 30 days in case you return it.
• •Buy any spares at the same time — they're often cheaper bundled.

Looking after it

Get the most out of the Apple iPhone 17 Pro 512GB by treating it as Apple intends: keep it clean and dry between uses, store it away from heat, and follow the manual for any replaceable parts. Most negative reviews of electronics products come down to maintenance rather than manufacturing.

• •Clean after each use rather than weekly.
• •Store in the case or box it came with.
• •Replace consumable parts on schedule, not when they fail.
• •Keep the receipt and register the warranty where offered.

What UK owners report

"Best iPhone upgrade in years" — The Deep Blue finish looks stunning in person and the camera improvements are immediately noticeable, especially the zoom.

"Battery life is incredible" — I easily get through a full day of heavy use and still have charge left. The A19 Pro feels lightning fast.

"Excellent phone, pricey" — Fantastic device but you are paying a lot for the Pro badge. The 512GB storage is worth it if you shoot lots of video.
