Looking after it

Get the most out of the Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max 512GB by treating it as Apple intends: keep it clean and dry between uses, store it away from heat, and follow the manual for any replaceable parts. Most negative reviews of electronics products come down to maintenance rather than manufacturing.

• •Clean after each use rather than weekly.
• •Store in the case or box it came with.
• •Replace consumable parts on schedule, not when they fail.
• •Keep the receipt and register the warranty where offered.

How long it should last

Owners reporting back after several months are the useful signal, and for the Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max 512GB the long-term feedback stays consistent with the launch reviews. Expect years of service with normal care, provided consumable parts are replaced on schedule.
