Is the Apple iPhone 17 Pro 512GB Worth It in 2026?

The short answer

Yes — for most UK buyers the Apple iPhone 17 Pro 512GB is worth it, provided you actually need what it does. Amazon UK buyers currently rate the Apple iPhone 17 Pro 512GB 4.5 out of 5 across 377 ratings. That is a strong score for a electronics product at this level, and it is backed up by consistent feedback rather than a handful of reviews.

The Apple iPhone 17 Pro in Deep Blue pairs a refined aluminium unibody design with the A19 Pro chip, a 48MP Pro Fusion camera system and up to 33 hours of video playback. Its 6.3-inch ProMotion display, Ceramic Shield front and back, and Apple Intelligence features make it one of the most capable iPhones available.

What owners say

One buyer summed it up as "Best iPhone upgrade in years" — The Deep Blue finish looks stunning in person and the camera improvements are immediately noticeable, especially the zoom.

One buyer summed it up as "Battery life is incredible" — I easily get through a full day of heavy use and still have charge left. The A19 Pro feels lightning fast.

Our verdict

If the Apple iPhone 17 Pro 512GB matches how you will use it day to day, it is an easy recommendation at its current UK price. If you only need it occasionally, a cheaper electronics option will do the job — but you will notice the difference in build and results.
